Off Grid runs dance classes in Gurgaon for adults six days a week: two levels of Jazz, three levels of Hip Hop, and an open-level Heels class on Sunday afternoons. Nine of the ten weekly batches are adult batches, and the first class in any batch is a trial.

Which styles adults take here

Jazz, Level 1 and 2. Technique-led: lines, turns, extensions and musicality, then used on performance nights.
Hip Hop, Level 1 to 3. Foundations and grooves, then choreography and cleaning, then full routines at tempo. The only style here with an advanced batch.
Heels, open level, Sunday 1:30 PM. Posture, walks, attitude and a routine every class.

Beginners start at Level 1. Jazz 1 runs Tuesday and Friday evenings and weekend mornings; Hip Hop 1 runs Monday and Thursday evenings and weekend evenings. Heels has no levels: the routine is taught so that everyone finishes it. Trained before and want to be pushed: Level 2. Hip Hop Level 3 is for dancers who already hold choreography at tempo. Teens from around 14 join the adult Level 1 batches; younger children train in the weekend Kids batch.

Weekday evenings after work, weekends from 11:00 AM

On weekdays, every adult batch starts at 7:00 PM or 8:15 PM, so you can leave the office and still make the warm-up. Hip Hop runs Monday and Thursday, Jazz runs Tuesday and Friday, and the studio is closed on Wednesday. Weekend batches start at 11:00 AM, 3:45 PM, 7:00 PM and 8:15 PM on both days, plus Heels at 1:30 PM on Sunday; the last class ends at 9:30 PM.

Is 25, 30 or 40 too old to start dancing?

No. Jazz Level 1 assumes no previous training and no ballet background. Hip Hop Level 1 starts from the first bounce. Heels is open level, with no Level 1 and Level 2 split. Whatever age you start, take the trial class and the instructor places you; if it feels too easy, you move up. Performance nights are where that training ends up, in front of a crowd.

Dance classes for women in Gurgaon

There is no women-only batch at Off Grid; every adult batch is open to anyone. The two classes to look at first are Heels, Sunday 1:30 PM, open level, and Jazz Level 1. Both pages have the full breakdown.

Styles Off Grid does not run

Off Grid does not run Zumba, salsa, bachata, Bollywood, contemporary or classical. Other Gurgaon studios do. What runs here every week is Jazz, Hip Hop, Kids and Heels, plus one-off workshops listed on the workshops page.

Performance nights put students in front of a crowd. Choreo nights and workshops are the studio's other recurring formats, and workshops bring in a style the timetable does not cover. Three months of a twice-a-week Level 1 batch is enough to hold short combinations and be learning routines, not enough to be advanced. Performance nights are where students put routines in front of a crowd; ask on WhatsApp for the next date.

How much do Zumba classes cost in Gurgaon?

Off Grid does not run Zumba, so we cannot quote a price. It runs dance classes, not fitness classes. If you want to move, sweat and learn a routine, Hip Hop Level 1 or Jazz Level 1 is the nearest start, and the first class is a trial.
